Victor Stroumos Service Award
Following feedback from community members at the 2026 AGM, The Mentonians Association (TMA) has made a recommendation to change the ‘Life Patron’ recognition to the Victor Stroumos Distinguished Service Award.
BACKGROUND
The Victor Stroumos Award was introduced by the Committee to recognise 30+ years of service by Victor as Treasurer of TMA, which was awarded to him in 2018.
In order to continue to honour the memory of Victor who sadly passed away in April 2023, it is proposed that the Life Patron recognition is reimagined into the Victor Stroumos Distinguished Service Award from 2028, given the similarities in eligibility and nomination criteria.

The information below outlines the details that will be shared with the community in relation to the award once approved, including eligibility and nomination criteria.
